Hayden Real Estate Ocean Grove Wins Agency of The Year

Hayden Real Estate wins Agency of the Year in the RateMyAgent 2016 Agent of the Year Awards Hayden Real Estate has won the Agency of the Year award in the RateMyAgent 2016 Agent of the Year Awards.  The awards, which are the largest real estate awards in Australia, recognise those agents and agencies that have ranked the highest based on customer reviews and feedback.   “It is gratifying to have some recognition for the team. Our guys all work really hard to get great results and it is fantastic to be rated so highly by our clients.” – Hugh McKewan, Director, Hayden Real Estate Ocean Grove. The RateMyAgent Agent of the Year Awards compare over 26,000 agents and agencies across the country.  They highlight the leading real estate agents and agencies in each suburb, city and state across Australia, and on a national level. “The RateMyAgent Agent of the Year Awards are the only awards which use verified customer reviews and feedback, so they’re an honest gauge of the customer service an agent has provided,” said RateMyAgent CEO & Co-Founder, Mark Armstrong.  “These awards are the only industry awards to put sellers’ needs first, using customer reviews as a leading indicator of an agent’s success over 2016.” The awards, which are in their third year, are the only major customer choice awards for the real estate industry in Australia.  Rather than being judged by industry peers, the awards are calculated based on the reviews that customers provide on the RateMyAgent website. Ocean Grove Significant Tree Project

Ocean Grove Significant Tree Project

Ocean Grove Significant Tree Project The purpose of this post is to alert landholders/prospective purchasers of property in Old Ocean Grove to the New Zonings and Overlays proposed by council to help  “preserve the bush and coastal character of identified areas with a focus on preserving and planting trees”. Some of the significant impacts of the proposal are to limit allotments to “one dwelling”, stipulate site coverage to between 40% and 60% (depending on the specific overlay) and building to 2m from at least one side boundary amongst others. Should these overlays be implemented there may be significant impact on property values (both up and down) in the effected zones. Another impact of the proposal will be two lot subdivisions and townhouse developments, in some areas these overlays will make it virtually impossible to do this type of development. The proposed overlays are displayed on the map below: The proposal is currently in an informal stage and council are considering comments at this stage, the proposed overlays are not set in stone and if you have concerns or comments council will listen. Submissions close on the 13th of May, but we believe later comments may be considered.. All the information you need to consider is at https://www.geelongaustralia.com.au/yoursay/item/8d35ecad1c121cc.aspx The proposal is set to be formalised later in the year, at which time interim controls will be put in place, however there will exemptions for current...
